EASE QuikCode

QuikCode^TM is a professional, stand alone, hand-held, inexpensive code scanner that allows anyone to quickly and accurately retrieve and clear stored and pending generic and manufacturer-specific DTCs, for OBD II compliant Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.

QuikCode has a unique emissions mode that gives a quick overview of a vehicle’s readiness to pass an emissions test.

QuikCode retrieves and clears the current MIL status and I/M Readiness Monitor status. VIN retrieval is also supported on 2002 and newer vehicles that support Mode 9 VIN data.

QuikCode connects to the vehicle's DLC port with an OBD II diagnostic cable (included). DTCs are displayed on a backlit LCD window. Users receive prompts via the LCD screen allowing them to request and run various diagnostic tests. Simple two-button operation lets users SELECT the desired test and then SCROLL through the results.

QuikCode supports OBD II communication interfaces SAE J1850 (VPW, PWM), ISO 9141-2 (ISO), ISO 14230 (KWP2000) and ISO 15765/SAE J2284 (CAN).

QuikCode comes with a User's Manual that lists over 5,000 OBD II Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) descriptions. (Click Here to see sample)

QuikCode can be updated using a PC to allow for easier and faster updates.

Vermont Inspection Stations

On January 1, 2005, all Vermont inspection stations must be ready for emissions testing on the new CAN (Controller Area Network) vehicles. The CAN Enabled QuikCode meets Vermont Specifications for OBD II testing with CAN. It supports all 39*

OBD II vehicles, including the new CAN vehicles. The easy to use QuikCode has an emissions testing mode that works in conjunction with Vermont’s emissions testing procedures. In addition to emissions testing, QuikCode can be used as a diagnostics tool to get a quick overview of a vehicle’s condition.
